The Hobbywing Platinum V5 80A BEC is an advanced speed controller dedicated to modelers who demand the highest precision and reliability. Developed with state-of-the-art technology, it is ideal for controlling brushless motors in large model aircraft and helicopters powered by LiPo/Li-ion/LiFe batteries. Designed for long-term performance, it ensures stable operation even under the most demanding conditions.

Advanced features and programming capabilities

The Hobbywing Platinum V5 offers a number of programmable features to customize its operation. Among other things, it supports.wireless programming via an OTA module with Bluetooth, allowing easy configuration via a smartphone. Thanks to an advanced microprocessor, the device guarantees precise maintenance of constant speed (governor function) and smooth motor start. A new feature is DEO (Driving Efficiency Optimization) technology, which improves throttle response, increases control efficiency and reduces regulator temperature. In addition, the governor has a built-in high-performance BEC voltage stabilizer that can be adjusted from 5V to 12V, ensuring reliable power supply to the receiver and servos from the drive battery.

Flexibility and performance for demanding users

The Hobbywing Platinum V5 80A BEC regulator offers a variety of flight modes: airplane, helicopter with linear throttle, helicopter with Elf Governor and helicopter with Store Governor. A new controller program with adjustable P/I parameters ensures excellent RPM stability even with sudden load changes. With the data logger function, it is possible to monitor RPM, minimum voltage and maximum temperature during flight.

Reliability and safety

The Hobbywing Platinum V5 is equipped with a number of protective functions to guard against unforeseen situations. Take-off protection, thermal protection of the regulator and capacitors, overload protection, overcurrent protection and protection against loss of control signal are just some of the mechanisms that ensure safe operation.
